X61 Tablet: Can I update screen to a two-finger multitouch? [ Edited ]

Hi there,

I have an old X61 tablet 7767 A4U thinkpad. The screen has a lot of bubbles and may enlarge the image in the bottom sometimes. So, I am planning to replace the screen. Can I update it to a two-finger multitouch module?

Do you know, that your planned "mod" is a downgrade? The multitouch displays only are availiable in XGA - resolution.
