Hi all:
I recently purchased a second-hand X61 Tablet. It shipped with Windows Vista and still has about 75 days left in the warranty.
I installed Windows 7 Home Premium on it, but now I cannot connect to my Nokia cellphone.
With Vista, I could connect to it very easily.
But in Windows7, I go to "Add a device" and it just keep searching for a device without showing my cellphone.
I have done extensive googling/binging and the following are the things I have tried:
- Both Bluetooth services are up and running and set to automatic
- My cellphone is set to bluetooth ON and radio discoverable
- My cellphone can see the computer. But cannot pair with it.
- I have installed various bluetooth stacks so now the 'Bluetooth Peripheral Device" driver not found error, is not an issue.
I am at a wits end with this problem. I am actually debating going back to Vista.
Anyone here who can help me with my misery?
