lenovo software install

Just installed a new harddrive on my ThinkPad X61 Tablet (7764-CTO).  Looked at Lenovo software that can be downloaded for that machine and there is quite a list.  Can anyone advise what Lenovo software I should download and install (there is nothing on the computer now except the BIOS and Windows 7)?  Primary goal is to ensure that system remains stable and secure and that I get important updates from Lenovo as they come.  Secondary goal is to get back some of the functionality that came with computer out of the box (i.e., control of sound, disk drive analysis, fingerprint reader, etc.).  Any advice?

The easiest thing is to install "Thinkvantage system update" and it will suggest the updates. You can pick and choose if you wish.
