upgrading x201t LCD

I currently have an x201T 0831-CTO system. I noticed that it did not have touch, just pen. Looking it up using linux (xinput -l) confirmed it. I ordered the correct FRU replacement part. Lenovo x201 LCD FRU 13N7271 based on researching it (I hope its the correct one but it seems like it is based on the internals).

My issue is getting it to work on the machine. At least the multitouch part. For the life of me I cant get that part to work. The pen part works just fine. But I cannot get the touch to work. Anyone have any answers for this? A part I should get? I had thought that it could be the LCD bezel that also needs to be replaced but I dont want to proceed until I know what I should have in order to get full touch to work.

FYI another xinput -l in linux commands this supports touch it is detected but clearly not functional. I have installed drivers and it works in neither linux nor windows 7 leading me to believe its something with the hardware. Any help would be appreciated, and I am sure would help others in my situation trying to learn this. Thanks

did you get the dual touch digitizer?

I believe that is the part number I listed in my original post. I listed the FRU number so it was not a question. I referred to http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/X-Series-Tablet-ThinkPad-Laptops/Lenovo-tablets-multitouch-vs-multitouch... as the reference for that and confirmed it in the manual. So yea I believe its the correct one. It's simply not working at this point.

Anyone? I have been searching through the forums. And google. Hopefully there is an answer. I installed the touch screen. I am positive I got the drivers installed, but I still have no touch. I tried all the various solutions including disabling and even uninstalling the pen drive but I am having no success. At this point I installed only the LCD Lenovo x201 LCD FRU 13N7271. The other parts remain the same. I was under the impression this was enough. Hopefully someone has an answer.
