I have my battery connected but my lenovo isnt charging all the way up! It stays at 96% It was working fine before. . .

I removed the battery connector, it went down to 95% I connected it again and it still won't charge completly.

You should try not charging it at all and let the battery completely die, then charge it without turning it on and see what happens.

If you look at the options in the Power Manager so do you have a percentage lever. You can also fiddle with other options.
The advantage with these kind of options is that you can recharge the battery to maximum 80% if you want to, and then the battery will get much higher life cycles. When GM built the Volt they made it only possible to recharge the batteries to 80% so they could have the ten year warranty on the battery. If they went over the 80% the damage would increase exponentially.
However, correct me if I´m wrong. But I believe I also have heard that if you keep recharging all the time, in other words constant keeping the battery at 100%, so would this over time damage it more than letting it loose some energy before recharging again. (e.g. doesn´t start to recharge before it has gone down to 96%)

I'm not sure why or if this makes any sense or not. But this started ever since I changed where I was connecting my laptop at. I changed the output/ wall socket and it went back to charging.
