I have tried downloading the latest drivers from Wacom, however I am still unable to get the calibration to work.
I tried in XP 32-bit and also Windows 7 64-bit, but the problem is not related to the operating system.
The top edge of the screen does not respond to the pen. This you can imagine makes most software unusable with the pen in tablet mode if you cannot access the menu bar!
Has anyone encountered and found a solution to this problem?
Thanks

to be more precise, there is about 2 cm from the top where the digitizer does not respond . I tried calibrating but there is to way to touch the points in the top of the screen. If I try to Calibrate with oft points, the Calibration is obviously worse than no Calibration.

Above is an image where no pixels are recognized. At one point, the top of the screen was accessible with the stylus, but it reverted. No amount of calibration would fix the problem.

I found a solution. I have a hard time making sense out of it, but all I had to do was flip the machine over in tablet mode. When the screen blinked black and then in the correct orientation, the edge of the screen resumed recognizing the digitizer.
When the screen was not recognizing the digitizer again, I did the same flip and the functionality was restored.

It must be a fluke. The edge of the screen is not reponsive again.
Perhaps the previous owner dropped it ( which it seems by the chips an dcracks in the bezel ), or it could be that the electronics have stopped responding.
The problem is intermittent, so I cannot say it is solved.
