8GB in X200s?

There will be new DDR3 SODIMM moduls such as Kingston KVR1066D3S7/4G. Will they be usable?

yes, 4GB DDR3 SODIMMs will work in the X200s.

yes, this applies to the regular X200 and X200 Tablet as well.

 

i have 16GB of memory in my ThinkStation D10 and can tell you first-hand that it only does magical things for apps that can actually use all that memory.   other than that, it won't do much. :smileywink:

And course you will need to upgrade to a 64bit OS, otherwise the last 4GB will be wasted
