8GB in X200s?

There will be new DDR3 SODIMM moduls such as Kingston KVR1066D3S7/4G. Will they be usable?

yes, 4GB DDR3 SODIMMs will work in the X200s.

i assume regular x200 too right? i can only imagine what 8gb of ddr3 can do

yes, this applies to the regular X200 and X200 Tablet as well.

i have 16GB of memory in my ThinkStation D10 and can tell you first-hand that it only does magical things for apps that can actually use all that memory.   other than that, it won't do much.

And course you will need to upgrade to a 64bit OS, otherwise the last 4GB will be wasted
