Dear lenovo comunity
i really need helps for my issue here as i already looking lots information on the net but cannot found the answer:
I have Thinkpad X61 with spec like this after benchmark with AIDA64/Everest:
Intel Core2duo T9300 (Peryn) @2.50Ghz
Cpu clock : 1200Mhz (original 2500Mhz)
Cpu multiplier: 6x
Cpu FSB : 199Mhz (original 200Mhz)
Memory Bus: 332.5 mhz
L2 cache : 6Mb
Motherboard: lenovo Thinkpad X61
HD: 250Gb , Hitachi SATA 5400rpm , 8mb buffer
bios: BIOS Type Phoenix (04/18/08)
This laptop using Vista as the OS.
Previously I wonder why this laptop performance is quite similar with my old intel-P3 500mhz , very slow
so after benchmark with software i just know that my laptop runs half than the peak performance : @1.2Ghz compare to the maks capasity @2.5Ghz , so i already knew this is causes of the slow performance.
I had another laptop toshiba T5500, each of the cpu core read with maximum @1.5Ghz , so i think there is something Big Miss here as my X61 compare to old toshiba could say 2 times slower
So i hope any friends could help guide me how to set the clock speed into the original as should be
i try to login into the bios but cannot see any option to change the speed
Thank you somuch
Rgds

THanks All I have found the solution for this issue at
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=92
conclusion:
The clock speed will be lower than normal speed if i plug off the batery and use 65w Adapter
When i use my adapter (65w) along with the Battery the clock cpu core back to normal (2.5Ghz) , another solution if we want to use Adapter without Battery plug in. we have to change the adapter to 90w series
case closed now
