Driver version identification help

Dear all,

I've been trying to figure out whether I should update the Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver for my X61 7675 CTO with Windows 7. The reason I cannot figure it out is whether I have the storage controller mentioned on the page below or not.

Device Manager informs me that what I have is an "Intel(R) ICH8M 3 port Serial ATA Storage Controller - 2828" and that the current driver version is 8.2.0.1011 (11/15/2006). This driver version is also on the page linked above, but the name of my storage controller doesn't seem to match. On the other hand - I cannot find the name of my storage controller anywhere on the lenovo.com support pages...

Could someone please inform me if I should update the driver using the files accessible from the link above? Thank you.

So I tried installing the storage manager driver update on lenovo.com/support, but it obviously wasn't applicable. Is the driver I have really the latest one? There's no need for specific Win7 support? I'm not having any problems, but I get a feeling I don't get the most out of having upgraded to Win7.
