One beautiful day.. I started my laptop and found out that the screen was messed up. I sent to lenovo and they said the screen is broken and I need to pay $700 if I want it fixed ( heck, I bought the thing for $300). So I am thinking,
option 1: Do you guys know where I can buy another screen and then fix it myself ( ebay has one for like $220 which is pretty expensive)
option 2: Sell it on ebay, which I am doing now.. hopefully people are gonna buy it (Lenovo ThinkPad X120e Ultra portable PC)
What else do you think I can do with this thing. I just bought it for less than a month so I'm kinda pissed right now. Also, if it gets fixed, is there like a plastic case protection or something for the laptop cuz this is pretty weak.
Thats all for my rant. Tell me what I should do. Thanks!

Did you use a credit card when you purchased it? If so, it may cover accidents for 90 days; for example, American Express and Citibank offer this on most of their cards.

Thanks for your help guys. I think its gonna be sold on ebay for parts. Its being bid up to more than $200 so I'm pretty satisfied.
I think it was broken because I put it in my backpack with tons of books ( I had the cover on it but I guess it didn't do the job very well)

I have yet to call Lenovo support to explore my options, but I was at Office Depot and they said this repair would cost around $600. At that rate, I would just buy another computer. However, I was looking online and found a website selling parts--a new screen for around $70. So is it possible to just buy a new screen, and perhaps take it to a computer shop for installation? Any advice or suggestions would really help.
Much Obliged,

@kwangsy
Yikes! I tend to just grasp the edges or the battery, but I've never exerted any force anywhere outside of the edge of the screen.
It's only as hard as disassembling a laptop, if you're feeling industrious enough. Lucky for us, Lenovo has a PDF detailing all the details as to how to take anything and everything apart (http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mob
