I used the lenovo power management software in Windows 7 and I find it confusing having windows power management and lenovo power management. I never understood which settings take precedence and the the laptop would do things like go into hibernation sooner than I expected. Hence I prefer to keep things simple and just have one power management utility (the one built into Windows).

On my X1 Carbon the Lenovo HID HW Radio Driver under the Audio section took care of that device for me.
