Kiscyn,

Lenovo's customer support hot line is 1-866-96-84465, it's very hard to get through to rep. You should send email to virtstor@ca.lenovo.com checking the status of your order, generally, no responses. Unfortunately, I received a letter in reply with " ...... we have looked into your Lenovo order and it has been cancelled as per your request......"  after 8 days waiting. Perhaps no responses means your order is OK?

It's impossible for me to collect statistics, I don't know whether the ratio of order issues of online trading platform is obvious higher than the ratio of order issues of manual telephone trading platform, conspiratorial theory.:smileyhappy::smileywink:

Thanks Mike.

I also heard explanation suchlike "order wouldn't go through for some unknown reason and you'd have to place another one", but it is unable to be accepted absolutely. If I reorder a new X61 which has the same configration as the one I am waiting for, I have to overpay  $480.

Re: X Series Notebooks Shipping Messages

thank you, Deeplake, for your quick response.

So u mean some orders put at the christmas sale may be cancelled by no reason at all?

do u really send them a msg telling them u wished to cancel your order?

wot i should do is to mail and call for the answer?

P.S. yes if we just forget all previous orders and restart to config the same one,the subtotal is much higher.

perhaps this is a sort of "regret " of lenovo canada?:smileyvery-happy:

1) I mean, perhaps, system or representative might has high probability of misplay in face of large quantities of orders, especially during special discount of holiday.  "System" is a candid friend, I trust the system even more, since it is controllable. So I said, "
we have the responsibility to help Lenovo debug those hidden trouble in their system".

2) I never ever requested any canceling operation, I would not know my order has been "canceled" so far if I didn't send a mail to check shipping time.

3) work along both lines.

4) Some
representatives,  I guess,  might hope of "forgeting all previous ", and reboot a new (it might refer to individual's achievement), this's our human being's blind side, but Lenovo must have corresponding rules to avoid this kind of action.

I purchased one x61 from the websit of lenovo at December 26,2007.
Customer Number: XXXXXX
Order: 2CHVE4

After a long time waiting, I can track it, then I contacted UPS and learned that my packet was lost, UPS asked me to contact lenovo.
From then on, the horrible  process was beginning. I hate lenovo now, I spent so many time and nothing is confirmed except it was reordered.

And now, I got in hopless waiting again.

God, when will this end? When can I receive my notebook? When can I get a word "sorry" form lenovo under such a circumstance? I am disappointed for these!
Writing here to remind you, hope I can get a fair treat!

MOD EDIT - removed customer number for your protection.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm a little confused.  Who lost the package - UPS or Lenovo?

Re: X Series Notebooks Shipping Messages

I want to know who have business with UPS? Lenovo or me?

I don't need to care ups,  I buy notebook from lenovo, whom I should ask for responsibility is lenovo not ups if somthing gets wrong.
Lenovo should be responsible for the late!!!  UPS is responsible to Lenovo not me.

Do I make it clear?
