Pointer freezes after clicking touchpad

Hello Lenovo users,

 

I'm very happy with my Thinkpad X121e but is has an annoying 'habit':

 

I only work with the trackpoint so I've switched off the touchpad in UltraNav (believe me it is switchd off). When I push on the touchpad until it makes a clicking sound, the pointer freezes for 3-5 seconds. It happends all the time when I click the touchpad and I have tried everything: Bios settings, re-install UltraNav, test all settings and buttons.

 

Can anybody help me??

Hi Harco,

Please try in safe mode. If problem presist please contact local lenovo for hardware test
