I just spoke with a manager of technical support, Cole, about this whole issue and referred him to this forum along with the softpedia news article. He is escalating this to his superiors who will be in touch with IBM-Lenovo. Not sure what they will do, but we're on a conference call where they are asking me what the issue is. So hopefully i'll have an update.

In your particular case, I would suggest the following course of action to resolve your concerns:
1) Contact service, arrange to have your system serviced. If the system is found to be running too warm, it is likely because some component is malfunctioning and should be replaced.
2) Following service, if the situation has not been resolved to your satisfaction we can take back the system and refund your original purchase amount.
I appreciate your opinions about how you would like things to be, but I think you have now stepped beyond the rules of conduct in the forum on this thread specifically by using this thread as part of an organized effort to disrupt Lenovo's course of business. Please see the excerpt from:
No Trolling or deliberate disruption of discussion . Inflammatory post or thread titles are unacceptable and may be moderated. Inflammatory, or unnecessarily argumentative postings will be considered trolling. Extended debate with moderators or admins over their decisions with regard to moderation of posts is considered trolling. Do not subvert threads. No vendetta posts, or online campaigning. It is acceptable to state concern for how a particular Lenovo policy, performance, or procedure does or does not meet the expectation of a particular member, but it is not acceptable to use this forum in an attempt to broadly organize or incite members en mass, to cancel orders, return systems, undertake legal action or otherwise disrupt the normal business processes of Lenovo.
I am locking this thread, and while you are free to continue participating here, I require that you to abide by the rules.
If you need help contacting service or in returning your system, please send me a PM with your contact information, model and serial number and I will facilitate it for you.
