Hello, I have had my X220 for almost 10 months now, and I noticed a small crack directly on the underside of the touchpad.
I had it for a few weeks and then finally the whole strip under the touchpad came off.
Now, I don't know how this could have happened as I never do any real hard work or drop my X220 but I am very disappointed in the "military grade" build of this thinkpad.
I am wondering, is this covered in my warranty? I still have 840 days left.
The direct message is: "This Product has a three year limited warranty which includes a ThinkPlus warranty upgrade. This product is entitled to parts and labor and is entitled to EZServ. Customers may call their local service center for more information."
I have noticed a lot of other people have this crack problem too, so it is a fault on lenovo's side I think, I will add more pictures tomorrow.
