I'm interested in purchasing a Thinkpad X220. I witnessed my friend demonstrate a "spill proof" keyboard on his Thinkpad T410s. Does the X220 coming with a spill proof keyboard? I adore this laptop and its features (720p webcam, battery life, Thinkpad keyboard) but even after reading and watching lots of positive reviews on this laptop, I could not find an answer. It's not a make or break addition, but definitally a comforting feature when you're an avid coffee drinker like me
.
Thanks,
JPM

Hi JPM and welcome to the forum!
You can inform your friend that the feature is not there for demonstration, but for accidental spills only, and that too has it's limits, if the system break down due to liquid damage it wouldn't be covered by the warranty regardless of lenovo's spill-resistant keybaord; unless of course you buy ThinkPad Protection Plan with your notebook which covers accidental damages like these.
Hope this helps.
