Thinkpad X301 Choices

[ Edited ]

I need this laptop to be configured such that I can use it programming... I am currently in Australia and wondering what I should get with my laptop.

Hard Drive:

64Gb Solid State Hard Drive with my X301 which I plan on buying very soon as compared 120Gb 5400rpm Hard Drive option as Ive read that the 120gb 5400rpm hard drive will bottleneck the system.

Ram:

Also is 4Gb ddr3 Ram rated at 1066mhz and would it be more advisable to have than say 2Gb be more of a bottleneck than the 64gb ssd drive.

Sim Card Reader ?

Just Wondering  in the Australian edition of the X301, is there a simcard reader as one of the companies that sell lenovos in Australia says that the Lenovo X301 has a simcard reader whereby I was reading on a website that has no mention of this feature.

Warranty:

Does anyone know if the Lenovo Onsite Warranty is Worth getting as its an extra AUS $200, as the thinkpad protection gives me protection but not sure what the difference is. For example will the Thinkpad protection give me protection if someone accidently trips on my cable and totals my laptop. Will Lenovo give me a new laptop due to their thinkpad protection scheme.

Other:

Just wondering if I can link up the display port with a screen and use the VGA port as well to support another screen. Thanks

edit: forgot to mention is the X300 Series Extended Silver Zinc Battery giving me more battery life since it costs more
