USB Ports on Ultrabase not working

Have an X61 with the Ultrabase, everything works fine except for the USB ports on the Ultrabase.

Not even sure what to try here as there are no drivers available for the docking station / port replicator.

You are right, there are no drivers necessary for the Ultrabase. If USB ports aren't working, then it's likely there is some defect. Since you have an X61, it's likely you are still under warranty yes? Engage service and I'm sure they'll get things rectified quickly!

This may sound like a silly question, but is it plugged in to AC and getting power? I've seen people complain their USB ports on their dock don't work, and when I come over and check they have the AC unplugged.

Just something to check before shipping it back.

Hi folks,

I had this exact problem with three new X61's this morning. I resolved the issue on all 3 of them by upgrading the firmware to the latest version - v2.19 (which happened to be released today!!)
