WIMAX vs X200

Hello again,

Do we have wimax on our x200? I see where I can insert the gsm chip but it does't seem to do anything. I have the intel 5300.

Please help!

Re: WIMAX vs X200

The Intel 5300 does not support WiMax, you need an Intel 5350 for WiFi + WiMax support.

Re: WIMAX vs X200

Can I use my sim card with my wireless 3g internet data plan to go online with my laptop x200 when no wifi can be found?

If so how do I set this up?

Thanks (so much)

Re: WIMAX vs X200

Did you order the laptop with the WWAN option? There should an antenna on the side of the screen, if you have the WWAN feature.
