Would it fit a machine with the 9-cell extended battery? Thanks!

I'm not sure, John. There is one inch of space between the top of the machine and the zipper, though.

I think that should do it. I've ordered one to find out for sure. Thanks.

With the 9 cell, my X220 fits snugly in a Builty NY Byo 12 inch case. Stretches the sides just enough to keep it from shifting inside the case, I love it.

I've had it for my T61. I'm going to get it for my x220 that I have received today. Superior material & quality. Custom snug fit for your laptop. A little pricey, but totally worth it for such an expensive laptop. Check it out! :]
I can only second that. Great quality for everything they provide. The only grieve I have is that my X220 6-cell doesn't have is not wide enough, so adding an A4 magazine on the outside of the snug fit vertical sleeve (there is a pouch for that) is realy hard to do. X220 9-cell won't have that problem. Also the extremely grippy rubber feet of my X220 require me to push it into the sleeve. My Dell D430 that I had before just slid in by its own weight. All of this is hardly the sleeves fault though. I'll keep coming back to them.

I just received my Case Logic 12" Netbook Attaché, and I'm not terribly impressed:
PRO
* X220 fits nicely with extended battery
* Cheap
CON
* Cheap construction
* Not much protection
* Hokey dual-purpose strap/handle, no shoulder pad
* Back pocket has no closure
* Front pocket too small for my essential items
I'm sticking with the Ativa Mobil-IT from Office Depot. [sigh]

I'm real sorry to hear that, John. Hope you can send it back for a refund.

I have got this : http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-10-Inch-Notebook-Mess
This is the perfect size (for the 6cell).
Maybe a bit bulky vs a sleeve but good protection and a lot of space
(note the shoulder strap is black on the 10-12" model, not red)
Can make you a picture if you want

Azrielsc: Thanks for the photos. For the $9 bag on eBay,
what material is this bag and how much does your bag weigh? Thanks!
