Seems like a stretchable nylon cloth bag, I think, and it is really light, 150gms?

I am happy with the Lenovo Thinkpad Essential:

I got suckered into the 12W sleeve. Waste of money - it is too big for the laptop on its own, but too tight if you cram in the adaptor too.

@mhyong suckered is an understatement lol.
I got

from
Bike messenger bag - STORIA - Italian Leather Messenger Bag
It's got two fully lined main compartments measuring approx 2"x13.5"x9.5" each.

With my 9 cell my laptop is around 9-9.5" so it is literally a perfect fit, however it does not have enough padding so I (got suckered) into buying the 12w sleeve, and this is the result.

So now I'm thinking of buying a
Sleeve Bag Case for IBM ThinkPad X220 X220I E220S | eBay
as it's a perfect snug fit/wrap even with 9 cell as it's vertically openable as demonstrated in this pic

Hi there,
Quite like the look of the Built NY cases. Just wanted to clarify, which one is it you're using with your 9cell X220? Also, is your 220 a tablet?
Is it this one (Built Byo 12" Laptop Sleeve Black) -
or this one (Built 12-13 inch Laptop Sleeve Black) -
Just want to make sure I get the right one! Thanks.

I bought the Brenthaven ProStyle sleeve that was designed for a Macbook 13.3" and it is and has always been perfect. (I've had it for a year).

With that sleeve there was no margin left on any side ?

Hello,
I am currently using a Briggs & Riley Verb VB401 Travel Brief bag to carry my X220.
