Why is the Lenovo driver package 500MB in size when Intel Wi-Fi card driver is 25MB?

Question

I recently bought and I have a question about the WiFi driver downloads for this computer.

My X220 has installed the "Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205" Wifi card  and it is running in a "Windows 7 x64 bit" system, and when I go to download the latest updated drivers from "support.lenovo.com" it gives 3 options in the "Networking Wireless LAN" section where I think the correct one for my card is marked in this picture:

Can I check if this is the correct driver package for my Wi-Fi driver? It is a 500MB file. Do I download this as if I go to the official Intel website the driver for my Wi-Fi card is version 15.1.1 (dated 5/3/2012) and it is only 25MB,  which seems a more usual size for a driver file.

Which driver should I download and install?  I like to personally download and store all my drivers with all my computers.

Answer

The driver package available at the Lenovo Support website is this size as t it contains drivers for multiple Intel adapters for both 64 and 32 bit OSes for Windows 7, Vista , and XP.

One of the forum contributors recommend that this package should be used if you are using Access Connections; if not users can also choose to download drivers from the Intel website.
