X1 and 2 externals screens

The X1 has an HDMI and a mini DP, is it possible to work with 2 external extended windows desktop environement?

or can't the 2 output be used symuteniously

it can only support 2 monitors at the same time, if you use the HDMI and mini DP then your internal LCD will be off.

ok the dual screen is a limitation of the sandy bridge, but you confirm that HDMI and DV is a go (LCD off)

Got a confirmation with Lenovo ANZ that the X1 is capable of driving two external monitors when the internal LCD is off. So basically you can use the hdmi and mini DP ports to drive two independent LCD. 

HDMI = 1920 x 1200 max

mini DP = 2560 x 1600 max
