Hi All.
I downlaoded and installed all drivers from lenovo homepage, but i have problem to connect to network via 3g (mobile sim card.)
I have Lenovo ThinkPad X100e, 2876-27g, windows 7Pro.
In network and sharing center i can see `Mobile Broadband Connection`, Unnamed Network - Device locked, Sim card is inserted and active!.
When i press Connect, i can enter my sim Pin, after that, shows `unlocking` and then `Searching for signal...`
Then error window, `The device can't find a signal`, after troubleshooting the problem, windows detects, that mobile broadband connection is turned off.
I'm using hotkays to tur wireless devices on (Fn + F5)
After first try, i cant see mobile broadband connection in network and sharing center menu.
In network connections, Mobile Broadband Connection is Enabled.
HW name shows Qualcomm Gobi 2000 HS-USB Mobile Broadband Device 9205.
I'm tried to reinstall device driiver, but no success.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Liepinsh

This SIM with this PC worked before reinstall.
incompatibility with SIM, HW and carrier could not cause it.
By pressing Fn + F5 i cant power on WWAN, that why i cant find any signals.
Let's try to play with drivers one more time.

No changes with drivers.
But why the TroubleShooter detects, that Mobile Broadband is turned off.
I can't turn it on using hotkeys, nothing happens when i press turn on button, but wifi and BT works, and phisical switch this NB don't have.
In control Panel, Access Connections, in Tools tab, pressing Mobile Broadband icon, which seems active (green) i get this.:
Congratulations on the purchase of your Lenovo™ ThinkPad® notebook with built-in Mobile Broadband.

In Device Manager shows:
11b/g/n/ Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express Adapter II
Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter
Qualcomm Gobi 2000 HS-USB Mobile Broadband Device 9205
Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)
I'm not sure about `Windows 7 broadband service`, because in services i cant finf anything with `broadband`.
Here's paste from Command prompt:
There is 1 interface on the system:

Hello liepinsh,
Were you able to connect to a 3G signal before?
When did it start to not connect to the 3G signal?
Hope this helps,
Alex

Hi.
Yes, i was, SIM card, Hardware, the same, only ram upgraded, but that was way before reinstall and after upgrade ewerything worked fine.
This happened after notebooks reinstall.
FMI, after reinstall, i activated my windows, but after few days, there was error, the windows license key weren't valid.
Microsoft support said, that HW upgrade could cause that, but could it take an effect on this issue? I just added one ram module.

When did the RAM get installed and when did the 3G stop working?
