X121e 'This device can perform faster' issue

Hi all. I got this problem with my X121e (AMD E-450): when I insert a USB device into the powered USB slot the 'This device can perform faster' message pops up. Any solution? Could it be a software problem (maybe drivers) or hardware problem? I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit. Thank you in advance.

Try a different slot, and if it connects thru a cable between the device and your X121e, try a different cable. Sometimes it's just a question of how you connect, or even what interference is going on around you. It also might happen if you're connecting a USB3 device, in which case there's nothing you can do (USB2 system I believe).
