X200 LCD trapped with dust points

I want to complain to Thinkpad LCD design!!!

Since my X200 LCD is trapped with dust points.  Actually, LCD should be shield well to prevent anything get into it.  However, I found that there are some dark points appears in my LCD and I discoverd that those points are "DUST".  Howcome that will happen in the Thinkpad design?  This is definitely a design fault!!  I want my perfect LCD back!!!

So wiping it with a mild solution of soap and water with a lintless cloth doesn't get rid of it?

It is possible that the sealing in the LCD is no longer airtight due to time or significant degradation. It's a fault with the panel itself, which was designed and manufacturered by the LCD manufacturer; not Lenovo.

The dust are trapped inside the LCD, that is between the glass and the light reflection paper.

Of course I know there will be a degrade to the LCD but that is not acceptable.  Let me say an example.  Harddisk is a kind of device that should be shield well.  So, if someone tell you that the harddisk might trapped with dust inside due to the degrade, will you accept for it?

I'm not saying it's acceptable, but rather that the fault does not lie with Lenovo or the ThinkPad design.

Are you still under warranty?

Yes, the notebook is still under warranty.  However, there are only 2 dust points, can I ask for a replacement?

Besides, I'm afraid that if I go for it, Lenovo will replace an old LCD for me, maybe there are some dead pixels on it.

Dusts will get in these LCD if you use the laptop in a dusty area. This is a problem that most LCD are susceptible, unless they have airtight or dust tight screen cover.

I think Lenovo has a minimum 3 dead pixel LCD repair policy, which may or may not apply to dust points.
