X201 3249 Bluetooth issue [ Edited ]

Brand new but came with 64 bit Win7 Too much incompatibility with some of our corporate apps formatted and loaded 32 bit Win7.

All drivers downloaded from Lenovo site all installed except the Bluetooth one. I get an error about the Bluetooth device could not be found.

Tried telephone Lenovo support, what a waste of time. They told me 23 bit win7 was a third party app that since it was not the O/S shipped with the unit I was SOL.

Nice since the drive 7zbv18ww.exe  from there site is the same for both 32 and 64 bit Win7

Anyone have any ideas.

I also get no response from the fn F5 key buy all other fn F* keys work

so the wireless switch is on the on position when you are doing the installation? also is bluetooth enabled in the bios?

Wireless switch show green and WIFI adapter is working fine. Bluetooth was working under 64 bit. I did not go into the bios and I doubt the Win7 32 bit install changed anything in there but will have a look

BIOS show I/O ports enabled for Bluetooth

The package you linked it's 60Mb compressed, it means that has both installers inside.

BTW why non  use just the lenovo updater and let it working ?
