X220 4286-CTO can't update new bios

When attempting to update the bios to 1.19 I'm also getting the message:

The process does not recognize this system.

The process has been canceled.

did anyone find a fix for this?

I have Bios 1.20 8DET50WW installed from factory.

Edit: Aparently the Bios 2.0 is a rebadged 1.9.

Furthermore, this new BIOS 1.21 version still does not solve the problem I encountered
I get the same message.
What is happen with Lenovo?

Do you have Intel Anti-Theft, ThinkVantage Password Manager, or any kind of add-on security/remote disable running? If so try disabling it.

I managed to upgrade the bios to v1.21 via http://support.lenovo.com but using Lenovo System Update util the update failed - and was showing an older bios version - not sure whats going on here.
