My Bios is already 1.20, if Mark release 1.20 , it seems that the bios will be useless for me.

the version you have (BIOS 1.20 with ECP 1.09) isn't the latest revision. rest assured that when the next BIOS is released it will be newer than what you have.

Hey guys. I owe you an update. The code is ready to be integrated into the next BIOS release which is scheduled by the end of the month. This code change is in the embedded controller. So when I say it's ready to be integrated into the next bios release it's just taking the final embedded controller code and merging it with BIOS.
The current schedule is late this month (last week). Keep an eye open for it. I know earlier I said end of August but this was the date for the embedded controller code release. This could have been my misunderstanding so I apologize for that.

Thanks JameZ.
This is the first time I've attempted a BIOS update on my X220, as I've kept it on the 1.16 it came with.
Anyway, it updated successfully to 1.21 and the Embedded controller after the reboot.
As for the throttling fix. It appears to be working, when I run OCCT (the graphic/cpu stress) the cpu does not go to 800mhz, GPU is mostly at the 1300mhz turbo boost but fluctuates a little bit, so does the CPU but its mostly at 3.2-3.4ghz on both cores during the test. Before when running OCCT the CPU would drop to 800mhz.
I dont have games to test, but I suppose the gamers or people with 3d accelerated apps will chime in soon.
