Well I can confirm that the ssd is not the problem. I have just used the recovery disks to do a factory default reinstall and I get 7.1 for CPU and 7.5 for the memory!
So definitely a sofware issue. I am just installing all of the windows updates and will run WEI again after that to make sure its not Microsofts fault.
CPU 7.1
Memory 7.5
Graphics 5.0
Gaming Graphics 6.2
Hard Disk 7.9

I have now updated windows to the point where there are no new updates at all including IE9. Still reading 7.1 and 7.5 for CPU and memory respectively so definitely not Microsofts fault!
Current readings are:-
CPU 7.1
Memory 7.5
Graphics 5.0
Gaming Graphics 6.1
Hard Disk 7.9
Gaming graphics has changed slightly from 6.2 to 6.1 but only because Windows update has probably updated the graphics driver.
Next up is to do a system restore save and then load all of the Lenovo updates to see if they work correctly. I'll report back once I have done that.

Right this is now officially resolved!
After a complete update from Lenovo and a update of the graphics driver to 2476, I now have the following WEI figures:-
CPU 7.1
Memory 7.5
Graphics 5.2
Gaming Graphics 6.3
Hard Disk 7.9
So definitely NOT a problem from Lenovo as I originally thought. What has happened could be one of the following:-
1) Self inflicted - I may have buggered around with the power savings/management trying to lower the fan noise and changed something I shouldn't have. (Most likely!)
2) Something corrupted on the power management side. (Possible)
3) Something may have borked because of third party software. (Very unlikely in my view)
If anyone has a similar problem, rather than go back to scratch like I have try one of the following first:-
In Power Manager, try resetting to default settings.
If that doesn't work, try uninstalling Power Manager and then reinstalling (after a reboot).

Yeah it is good to resolve that issue.
However if you look at my WEI graphics figures, even with the 2476 graphics drivers I can only get 5.2 and 6.3 for them and I had 6.4 on both previously when my CPU was lower. Other people on here have these higher figures as well. The plot thickens!

How did you get that rating for memory?, I thought 8GB could only get you 7.5 on the WEI.
