X300 64781HU rendered useless after enabling Security option in BIOS.  F10 to Save BIOS Changes, System starts to restart, I hear 4 short beeps, screen stays black.  I never see anything on the screen.  The Power button stays lit along with the battery/plug and ThinkVantage buttons.  Subsequent reboots produce the same results.  I have no password enabled on startup or on the BIOS.  Anyone know what to do?

Unfortunately, according to the ThinkPad beep decoder, this means a bad System board (Security chip).

 

Time for a warranty repair!
