X300 and Energy Manager

Hi everybody,

I am using an X300 with Windows7. I installed the Lenovo Energy manager 3.11a. I am not really happy with it. I created a new power scheme but it is not visible when I press Fn+F3. Moreover, even when I choose a scheme with less power consumption, the fan seems to be constantly running on high and the system temperature is also quite high. This is very different to WinXP which I was using before. I should mention, that I am logged in with a limited user account. Anybody having similar observations or does anybody have some good advice (apart from uninstalling the Energy Manager...)  ;-)

Best wishes

Ronald

Re: X300 and Energy Manager

Hi Ronald63de!

Try Power Manager 3.12:

Also make sure you have the latest Power Management Driver 1.60:

And Hotkey drivers to go with those:

I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

Re: X300 and Energy Manager

Thank you for the reply..... I upgraded the energy manager, but the symptoms remain the same. Any ideas?
