X40 Think Pad docked into an X4 Ultrabase docking unit

The ThinkPad does not recognize the ultrabase thus making it useless. The pro's have checked with our Product Manager and apparently there isn't any driver for ThinkPad X4 Ultra Base. I downloaded the CMD Ultra DMA IDE driver as they had suggested still no change.

The part number on the X4 ultrabase: PN: 91P9283

What can I do so that the computer will recognize the ultrabase?

I have extra bases and tried a new one and no change.
