X60 Windows 7 Ultimate boot problem. Classpnp.sys error? Which drivers to install from Lenovo? [ Edited ]

I have a problem with Windows 7 Ultimate on my X60. Sometimes it boots normally, sometimes it doesn't. Startup Repair does not help. Is the machine suppose to run Windows 7 anyways flawlessly?

Maybe which drivers shall I exchange from the original Microsoft drivers with drivers from Lenovo on top? I already have the latest BIOS.

It might be the infamous classpnp.sys error. Google it.

Do you have any recommendations?

I have the same problem, this time with a T500 dual booting Seven Ultimate 64bits and Linux. (Seven on the HDD, Linux on a SSD on the bay)

The CLASSPNP.SYS problem is a very recurring and annoying problem, present since a batch of updates 6-7 weeks ago. (at least for me)

The only solution for me is:

1. Overwrite from a previously USB key recorded version

2. retry to boot until it works.

This is NOT exactly a professional process.

If I run a Thinkpad, it is to be confident on the material. I want it to be trusty.

Now, I have to be very carefull, not letting it to get in sleep mode.

Every windows update is the risk to get the problem back.

This is absolutely annoying.
