The problem is that the small plastic piece, located on the LAN port, on the left LED broke off when I removed the LAN cable. It's just on the side, protruding outwards a few millimeters.
I don't know if this actually qualifies for servicing under the warranty, as the computer runs along fine. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Okay, I realize that this is probably sounds like some bad joke or et cetera, but I'm really irritated at the fact that apparently something can and will break on this X61. I mean, these things are supposed to be tough. Not flimsy and fragile like the Macbooks. I have a X31, and stuff like this doesn't happen, neither does this happen on my old HP.
And I had this laptop for approximately three months...

Yeah. Apparently Customer Support said if 'it works but I'm so anxious about it' I might as well bring it to the Service Center.
Also, strangely enough, I asked them to confirm with me the expiration of my warranty, and it turns out Lenovo website is wrong? My 'actual' warranty seems to expire one month after the one listed on the website...
I don't think it's worth hauling my butt to the service center to have them take a look at a small piece of broken plastic that would probably draw shrugs anyway.
However, if the LED falls out or something cataclysmic of the sort I figure it'd be worth the time to do so...
Thoughts?

it is not necessary, but you can if you want.
