graphics on the x220

hi,

got my x220 ci5 some months now, experienced the fanproblem until bios 1.16, now that's oké,

but what about graphics  : i mean screen resolution on these machines : i can't get the text sharp, does anyone know how to obtain the best screen-resolution ?

Text is very sharp on my X220 with the Premium IPS panel upgrade option...

The native resolution is 1366x768. Perhaps you've accidentally changed it to something else which would case interpolation and not be sharp.

Upgrade BIOS 1.19 and Power Manager 3.62 for fan issues.

Download them from the support.lenovo.com site instead as there are some delay on TVSU.

unforunately, don't have ips : is it possible to switch to ips screen (or does it includes a new motherboard ?)

Yes you can, I've read something about it on the forum, but I don't know about the warranty.

Maybe we should open a website: "Trade your X220 screen"

Some don't like the IPS, others complain about the standard screen. That's why they should focus on 1 good screen like they did before.
