resetting msata ssd Password?

Hello there!

I got a problem with my password protected mSata SSD (original; intel).

I am 100% sure, that my password is  the correct one, but the SSD denies my access.

How can i restore the SSD to get it working again?

I dont care about the files on the SSD... Just want to use it again without a password.

Problem is, i can not access the bios, cause the ssd blocks it.

Any suggestions?

That is a typically SSD-bug. Many SSDs get problems earlier or later while using a "HDD"-password. They are "bricked" then.

You might be able to secure erase it.

Have you meddle with the lenovo security chip, uninstalled/install any client security, turn on any intel security AMT stuff etc etc?, updated BIos?

go to another pc enter the password
write it down.
now think what typo you did or look at the cap lock light.

ssd passwords dont brick a drive.
never ever heard such a thing.
drives brick because owners do silly things.

if you can remeber what the password is then it not much a secuity thing if you can reset it.
is it.
what good would a password be if anyone could type 1234 in and reset it.
dont make alot of sence right.
harddrives passwords are a forever thing.
been around also forever.

most people dont think and work the problem.
write down a list of words you may have used.
most people have many passwords and forget what one they used.

if it dont work go buy a new msata drive and leave the password alone.
