x120e Degradation in Image/Video Quality

Hey guys, first time on posting on the forums here.

I just recently made the switch from my old macbook to a Lenovo x120e (I was excited to try all the new developments of Lenovo/Microsoft ), and I've encountered an annoying problem. 

My laptop has been running super smoothly, and everything's been great, except that the graphics have gotten worse than when I first purchased my x120e two months ago. I suspect that it could be a software issue, since it sort of coincided with a systems update. I'm hoping that it's not a hardware issue...

If anyone else has had the same or similar problem, then I'd greatly appreciate it if you could shed some light of the subject matter.

Hello,

A few things to do, in no particular order:

• Run the ThinkVantage System Update software to update the ThinkPad X120e's device drivers and machine-specific software direct from Lenovo.
  
  
• Try installing the latest device drivers for the video card direct from AMD (these tend to be newer than those offered by Lenovo, but may not be fully-tested by them).  The latest version that I am aware of is v12.4 and located at:
  32-bit:  www2.ati.com/drivers/mobile/12-4_mobility_vista_win7_32_dd_ccc.exe
  64-bit:  www2.ati.com/drivers/mobile/12-4_mobility_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc.exe
  
  
• Try installing the latest version of Adobe Flash.  The latest version that I am aware of is v11.3.300.257 and is located at:
  Internet Explorer: download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_active_x.exe
  Other web browsers: download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin.exe

Hopefully performing one (or all) of the above steps will get your graphics back to where they should be.
