Well, there two different panels that are being used in th x120e, a Samsung LTN116AT01-401 (better) and an LG LP116WH1-TLB1 (worse).

It could be the review sites were sent units with the better panels as I'm sure Lenovo is aware that ones is better than the other.

The Samsung panel in my X100e looks really good... Maybe consider a panel swap?
