Hi guys,
My shiny new x201 is acting strangely after I connect it to the ultrabase. It does not recognize my monitor (displayport2displayport direct cable) nor any USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse...).
If I reboot it _while_ on ultrabase, everything works as it should.
So, from standby, hibernate or while turned on, nothing happens. After a reboot everything is OK. One of the reasons I bought an ultrabase is the ability to connect to mon/keyb/mouse/printer on the fly.
Instead of preinstalled W7/32bit I had to install W7/64bit since I have more than 3GB of RAM (8GB exactly). Everything else works perfectly.
Can anyone help, did you encounter a similar problem ?
Thanks in advance
Marko
[update] I have two ultrabases, and have tried them both, same thing...

Thanks JameZ,
I already did that earlier. In the meantime I realized that everything eventually starts working but _only_ after I:
1. Open the screen lid (while on dock)
2. Log in on the notebook keyboard
3. Wait for a couple of mins.
4. Switch monitor to clone mode (Win-P)
5. Switch monitor to Projector only (if I skip 4. it starts flickering)
6. Close the lid (set as do nothing when i close the lid while on AC power).
So, the USBs do not work unless I login on the notebook itself (integrated keyboard) and ... well wait.
Strange...
