Add another X201 to the random shut down list. This is very annoying, but I can't really be without my computer for several weeks if that's the only way to get it looked at. VERY upset as this was, as you all know, quite a pricey computer.

Great I have 150 of these units arriving in about one month
They seem to be getting engineers involved so this is a good step forward one has to give them credit for trying to help find a solution ![]()

it seems that it is a common problem here. this is my second x201 and it still has the shutdown symptom, but a little less frequent. and the contrast thing happens when not connected to outlet.

Add another one (with BSOD). Just re-started my computer... again....
It's starting to get annoying when you keep getting this random shut down, especially you expect you get a above average quality laptop when you pay so much extra in price!
Does anyone has a solution to why x201 model has this BSOD problem???????? Is there something in the production procedure that Lenovo has kept secret from consumers?????
