How long did it take you to get back your laptop after sending it in? Also, did you send it all the way to their manufacturing plant in China?

I shipped out the laptop on a Wednesday, got it back the next Monday. so about 3 business day.
I've never had to ship the laptop back to china. I live in Vancouver, Canada so they asked me to ship it to Toronto, Canada.

Are you having any sleep issues with the machine? How about instances where the screen washes out (change to contrast)?

Service replaced the motherboard and shipped it back to me within 24 hours of receiving it. Crossing my fingers that the motherboard solves all my problems!

I ordered my x201 laptop before reading these comments... now im really scared............I wonder if the new ones have fixed these random shutdown issues or not............do all x201 laptops have this problem?
