Question
On many occasions, I wish to be alerted for any new posts being made to a discussion thread that I participated in (posted) so I can know what is going on.
At other times I'm also interested in certain discussions and read the posts, though I do not post/participate in them, and I would like to get updates or alerts whenever someone posts a subsequent contribution.
How can i subscribe to a thread or bookmark a discussion so I can be easily and quickly updated?

To subscribe or bookmark a discussion thread, click the "Topic Options" link on the top-right of a disucssion thread and select "Subscribe" or "Bookmark" as in the figure below.
