Question
I have a T61 in a 2504 docking station. I wish to connect 2 screens - 1 by the normal VGA and the other by the DVI connection.
My issue is that I do not know which DVI to buy. DVI-D, DVI-A, DVI-I etc etc.
Can someone tell me the correct DVI for my docking station.
Answer
The DVI port on the dock only supports DVI-D connection which is a digital connection.
The DVI-A is analog signal that is carried on the applicable cable. While, DVI-I is DVI-Integrated which carries both the digital and analog signal.
