T520: iPhone USB Charger Cable

Question

Recently upgraded to T520. When we plugged the iPhone cable in to charge. Getting an error saying "Software Driver cannot be installed"

Answer

  1. With your iPhone plugged in.
  2. Go to Device manager
  3. Find the USB port with the yellow exclamation mark
  4. Right click and select uninstall the device
  5. Unplug the iPhone from the USB port
  6. Ensure that iTunes is properly installed
  7. Open iTunes
  8. Plug in the iPhone
  9. You should see a notification that a USB device is being installed
  10. Once the install is complete, the iTunes would detect the iPhone
