This just occured to me... Doesn't Lenovo have US manufacturing capabilities?  I remember I read a while ago that Lenovo opened some plant in North Carolina, which was a huge deal back then.

Did you uninstall the nVidia 9.18.13.1269 and used the latest WHQ Quadro Driver?  What version??
