I typically keep my phone on vibrate, I rarely turn on the ringer.  I have a Smart Action setup for night time which turns the ringer/vibrate off to silent.  I also have a work Smart Action setup which sets it to vibrate (just in the case I had turned on the ringer at some time).& ]]>

I created a wake smartaction that reset the volume to medium - this happens in the morning when my nightime silent action turns off.
