Re: Bootloader Solution

Ok Do me a favor, check those sources.... Now check the sources. sources.

If you follow endgadget it leads you to cnet, If you follow cnet it leads

you to droidmatters. Now, if you check on the phandroid articles source,

it goes to wireless goodness. Wireless goodness shows that HTC sent out a

letter asking for permission to enable hsupa from the FCC. not Att like you

have misinterpreted. The article is only about the HTC (great company)

Inspire and nothing is said about the Atrix nor is ATT mentioned.

In conclusion, It looks like a long chain of embellishments and opinions

to me. By this time At&t would know something by now and would not occult an

update for hsupa. Sources are not really great sources sorry to say man,

Droid Bionic is not cancelled.

http://www.droid-life.com/2011/04/14/rumor-has-the-droid-bionic-been-cancelled/

Fact-checking is very important because rumors spread like wildfire.

Don't you think we all would at this point Yurtesen aka Motoplant. i intend

to if I can get them to take it back. Thats what all of this phone and

company is. A big big waste of time. Phone has issues, guess what your lucky

to get updates we give you. You can't fix yourself because its licked

bootloader. But worse than that there is sow as molasses 3g and there is

edge uploading. Are you kidding me Yurty. quite frankly don't you think I

would have avoided this garbage company in hind sight. Don't you think many

of us have buyers remorse because of Moto ans ATT underhandedness. Seriously

Yurty, what are you doing here anyways if your so content why waste your

time as well?

@sdlopez83-

I agree re: the note about the FCc and HTC but that was discussed on the forums here a while back. Basically when the Inspire originally got FCC approval to be sold it did not apply for HSUPA certification, the Atrix did. All that happened was that HTC send an amendment letter applying for HSUPA certs.

The common link was that this happened because the full HSPA+ unlocking would be imminent. It clearly wasn't.

How about you read up on how the HSUPA will come out first before spouting nonsense that we're not getting HSUPA. It was announced on AT&T FaceBook page:

http://www.droidmatters.com/news/att-claims-updates-coming-in-april-to-hsupa-for-4g-phones/

The "tech" rep you spoke to is severely mistaken. If they were going to have that many problems with HSPA+ and 3G conflicts, they never would have started the backhaul.

How much mor eproof do you need? A source is a source, and they all get their info from the same spot. I'd be inclined to agree with you if only one website was posting about it, but if major android and tech websites are posting it, you can bet your --removed profanity-- that AT&T will do something about it.

So there ya go. Straight from the horse's mouth. Or is that not good enough for you?

Also, no one is going to see "better speeds" unless the switch is flipped and we can use our device at its full potential. They may see better download speeds from different times and places during the day, but they'll always be capped at .33 MBps upload speeds until AT&T rolls out the update. HSDPA is still severely limited, because the backhaul isn't anywhere near complete. So very few people will actually have better download speeds than you or I.

I encourage you to do some reading online before spouting nonsense like your "tech rep". Seems to me that he was a figment of your imagination.

Please see the on posting appropriately.

I can't argue with you. Asource is a source mentality is quite ignorant to

facts. Like where is this coming from. The last post from zizo is promising

but the other links were rubbish. Im surprised that you would take offense

to my suggestion to investigate them. It took me a minute to do so. Lighten

up cheif.

You must think I;m stupid, don't you? I read all sources I post before I post them. All those other links leads to my last post. So you're calling the last link I posted stupid? Even though it came from AT&T.

You can stop twisting my words to suit you now, too. You should have the common sense to know that I do not mean in all scenarios and situations. But in this situation, every source I posted was legit, and all tied in with the others and original source.

Maybe if you had followed the chain, you would have realized that.

I'm done talking to you about how legitimate my sources are. You and your tech rep are wrong. Completely and totally. I don't see why a rep would confide that kind of info to you and not any of us? You made it up. Move on, and stop badgering me about my sources.

Also, way to go on ignoring all my other points. Instead you attack what you think to be the weakest link in my argument. You should consider being a politician with the way you twist words.

Noo i dont think your totally stupid. Not arguing, so im not going to refute

your other points in previous article. just pointing out validity of said

links. I also relayed what was said on my chat with tech plus opinion. Fair

enough?

Motoplant heh only because I thought it was asking too much to keep warranty when bootloader is unlocked...?

I guess everybody makes mistakes. In future you can search if the producer is evil or good before purchase

The best thing you can do is to warn everybody around you so they wont get a Motorola device also (since there wouldnt be any reason for Motorola to give you anything if people continue buying these products like nothing is wrong) and if you dont warn people, it is your fault that you dont receive solution hehe
