I purchased a new Yoga Smart Tab two days ago. Overall a great device. One little problem is the adaptive brightness. I noticed if I am in a room with not much light it always goes to 0% and I have to manually change it. It also does it after waking from sleep. Watching in a low light room at 0% is too dark. At minimum it needs to be at 10%
I am aware adaptive brightness learns from your selections, yet it doesn't seem to be doing so with this device. On my Pixel 3 XL I can reset the adaptive brightness data, yet I can't see anywhere to do it on this device.
Any advice or suggestions would be great. I would like to keep adaptive brightness on as I don't want to manually change it all the time. However, going to 0% constantly is becoming annoying as I am changing it all the time.

Welcome to the Community,
The only way that the adaptive brightness be reset is on Android Pie and it's either you turn it on off. I got Oreo so I just turn it off and adjust it manually when needed.

Thanks for the reply Jeremy. I have Pie and I know how to reset it with my Pixel 3 XL. I can do it through Device Health Services. Yet, that doesn't exist on the Lenovo device and I can't see the option in the settings. Please advise?

I did a research on this and that is really the only way and if a part of the OS is missing then a reinstallation of the OS would be the next step.

Thanks for the feedback. We have also noticed the problem internally, and not fixed the issue. You will have a total new experience on our next OTA (around end of the Februray).
