I tried to update my yoga tab 3 to marshmallow, but the process failed and I tried to do it by flashing. Unfortunately, I didn't noticed it was an ota image, so it wasn't meant for that. Now my tablet is bricked (it just won't turn on) and when I connect it to my computer it is recognised only as Qualcomm HS-USB Dagnostics 900e. I need to know how to make it enter into edl mode or fastboot so I can flash stock firmware again and save it. (How to get it to be recognised as Qualcomm 9008 or something.)

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Try to see if you are able to perform a factory reset.
Note: Some setting may vary depending on the age of the tablet.
1. Go to Settings > Backup & reset
2. Touch Factory data reset
3. Touch Reset tablet
4. If your tablet is password protected, you'll be prompted to enter your Pattern, PIN or Password
5. Touch Erase everything to confirm
Alternatively, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the power button and the plus volume.
2. You will need to continue holding this until you feel a vibration.
3. Once this happens release the power button but carry on holding the plus volume key.
4. You will see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark.
5. Use the volume keys to scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" and press Power to select it.
6. Scroll down to "Yes - erase all user data" and press Power to select it.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Thanks for answering, but I can't follow any of the steps you've mentioned, since the tablet won't turn on.
It doesn't even vibrates when pressing power button. It's just recognised when I connect it to the computer. So, as I said from the beginning, Is there a way to go from this "Qualcomm HS-USB diagnostics 900E" mode to fast boot or Emergency Download mode?

I have the problem that i cant get into the recovery
The solution your mentioned is for me not work no Andoid with a red cross
Shall try the back up option
But i think the best solution is the stockrom with the flash file.
But it seems to be impossible to get this rom file

I actually managed to solve it by turning the USB into an EDL cable with a paper clip. There is a guide Here with instructions to do an actually pretty cool dual function cable. (with a switch.
What I did was just slide the clip between the 2 pins that it says need to be joint. I managed to conect it like that into my computer and voila! I saved my tablet.

You'll know because it'll show on the computer as it. (Check device manager or the flasher tool).
I personally didn't tried to make the switchable cable. Instead I just managed to jump the two pins by inserting and unfolded paperclip on the usb connection and inserting it like that into the port of my laptop.
